a dollhouse renovation...

this weekend I had no weddings or floral events, so rather than relax I decided to madly renovate a doll house for my daughter with all the mod trimmings!! I managed to grab a bargain online of a old Georgian style dollhouse, and have been busy painting, wallpapering, cutting and gluing.
I am very happy with the results and my daughter is very anxious to start playing with it!still need to renovate the outside and porch, but this will do for now! x

Seafarers Wedding

I just LOVE the styling and venue (Seafarers Mission) for this wedding. The bride & groom were so serene and relaxed - and that was reflected in their beautiful day. It was clear they wanted to create an evening that included their friends and family - with little thoughtful details like framed photos of previous family weddings. The flower list included poppies, australian and south african natives, with burgandy, orange and deep reds making an appearance. How cute is the lil flowergirl! what a pretty fairy!

I have so many people to thank for helping out in creating Sinikka's STUNNING display at The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show!
Matt & Peter - for making my scribbles on paper come true... aswell as deciphering my measurements and building requirements!
Kirsten - for all your help and countless hours on the weekends - gluing corks, painting, prepping flowers and set up at the Exhibition Building...
Rory - The most enthusiastic florist assistant I could ask for on site! aswell as filming our setup - I can't wait to see it all put together.
